Shops are not too far and the local pub "Tir na nÓg" (Land of youth!) is just half a kilometre away offering an opportunity to join the locals for a pint of the best Guinness in Ireland.  Margaret even puts the shamrock on top!! .Don't worry about your children - a reliable Babysitter service is available!

The cottage is ideally located for touring County Clare and Kerry as the car-ferry to Kerry is only 8 miles from the cottage. All the sights of West Clare, including the Cliffs of Moher , the Atlantic beaches,  Ennis with its attractive narrow streets and the historic market town Kilrush are in easy driving distance. Kilrush has a fine marina and an adventure centre offering all kind of activities
